Dig the City

Last year I worked with Modern Designers on the advertising for Manchesters Dig the City festival and we've just finished an update for this year, firstly with a new poster. This should be popping up around the city soon. All the details are on the nicely designed Dig the City website

Sherry

Illustration for drinks magazine Imbibe. This accompanies an article about a special, unfiltered Sherry that has a 'bit of danger' about it. Sherry can be scary.

Storytellers

I printed this small wooden sign for design company The Storytellers, they commissioned it for a award ceremony to be presented to their employee of the year and its based on their cherub logo.

Drawing type

I have some work in this book about lettering by Alex Fowkes. It features the portfolios of 72 designers who specialise in hand drawn typography and you can have a look inside on Amazon here

Stranded Badger

My entry for SB Studios 1 beer, 100 names project. 100 illustrators, designers and artists were each given a beer name beginning with SB and asked to design a label for it. A run of bottles will be made up and exhibited and auctioned with profits going to charity.

Lose the blues

I've made these signs for No Walls Gallery in Brighton. Screenprinted on to 6mm plywood panels they are made in an edition of eleven, some blue and some not in blue. They are varnished and have wire attached to the back so are all ready to hang. They measure 68 x 47cm. They are £100 each and you can get them here. I'm getting pretty good with a jigsaw.

Four fonts show

I have a show of new work at Soma Gallery in Bristol, titled 'Four fonts walked into a bar...' its a set of screenprints and other objects based on jokes and gags. Heres a couple of pictures (the long one is a bookmark) - more soon.
